I love the collaborative spirit of television production, as everyone pulls together to work toward the common goal of making a great show. And I am passionate about my role in that, making the actors look great so they can feel good about themselves and be comfortable in their performances. I feel as if each project is a new adventure and I hope you will consider making me a part of yours!

“Wendy Weiss is one of the most creative, organized and inspired Make-Up Department Heads I’ve worked with over my 30-year producing career. Over the 6 years I’ve been working with her, she’s always been ahead of Production in putting together designs, getting a schedule organized and making sure we’re able to start shooting on time. Her professionalism and warmth are a great combination for the person who is at the front lines with Talent. I can’t recommend Wendy too much, though I hope she’ll still be available for my next show!”

~ Craig Wyrick-Solari, Producer

"Wendy is one of the greatest people we've ever had the pleasure of working with.  Creative, professional and talented, Wendy was always able to accomplish difficult tasks and make it look effortless.  Always unflappable, whenever Wendy was faced with a challenge, she went above and beyond and always offered us creative solutions.  Whenever we have a project, Wendy is one of the first people we call."

~ Kevin Kopelow & Heath Seifert, Executive Producers

“Wendy Weiss was the Head Makeup Artist for Good Luck Charlie from the Pilot in 2008 to the final episode in 2013. Aside from being one of the warmest and most approachable people on set, Wendy was a professional first and foremost. She is collaborative, communicative and a perfectionist. Like most Disney Shows, we did elaborate Halloween episodes and period pieces and Wendy’s historical knowledge and attention to detail were spot on. On top of all this, she comes with an army of professional artists who can help her create the most unique and cost-effective work I’ve ever seen. Wendy has the background, expertise and creative passion needed on any set. There is nothing she can’t do.”

~ Drew Vaupen, Executive Producer

"Having Wendy Weiss do the makeup on two of the shows I've run was a great pleasure because I knew that was one area I never had to worry about.  Whether it was making the actors look great, or creating a special look (such as the Kiss-inspired rock band on one of the shows), Wendy always did a fantastic job."

~ Michael Kaplan, Executive Producer

"Wendy's talents were instrumental to achieving an authentic look for our characters on "I'm in the Band". Over quite a few episodes, cast members required full face paint makeup and I recall Wendy working after hours over multiple days to ensure that we achieved a look and feel that was both impressive and original. More importantly, Wendy is an absolute pleasure to work with. Available and responsive, she always took the initiative to ensure that the show’s needs were met before any issues arose and always went above and beyond. I can’t recommend Wendy highly enough!"

~ Ron Rappaport, Executive Producer

Wendy J. Weiss is a consummate make-up artist who has an impeccable eye for detail, whether she is doing beauty make-up or designing and applying a special application. She has been my make-up artist for six years and is always able make me look my best.  Not to mention, she is a pleasure to work with.

~ Nancy Travis, Actress

“Wendy gave me the gift of looking better than I do for eight long years of studio and location shooting, for television, film and photographic work, through all kinds of lighting, weight gains and losses, different hairstyles and periods of fashion. She is a steady and patient person and really, really knows her craft.”

~ Patricia Richardson, Actress
